How much drywall do I have to remove after flooding or water damage?

If you have a building and your get flood or water damage, some of the drywall might have to be removed. SERVPRO follows all of the guidelines of the IICRC with any water damage situation.

If the water comes from the outside, it can contain contaminants, which can be absorbed into the drywall. Therefore it will have to be removed and replaced. It is also critical to clean behind the drywall to make sure any microbial growth is taken care of.

If you have any questions feel free to reach out to SERVPRO of Stillwater & Guthrie at anytime. They have team members available around the clock.
